Professional Actor, Singer and Teacher
Suzanne Stroup is a professional actor in the Metro Atlanta area. Born and raised in Marietta, Georgia, she has been performing locally since she was six years old. As a magna cum laude graduate of Mercer University (Macon), with a double major in both Theatre and Journalism, she has studied theatre performance, as well as technical theatre (costume and scene design, stage craft, playwriting) as well as performance theory, directing, history and basic stage combat.
Suzanne is the co-founder of Lemonade Arts Academy.
Suzanne has had the opportunity to portray many diverse characters. Some of her favorites include Petra in "A Little Night Music," Wendy in "Peter Pan and Wendy: The Musical" and Nina in "The Seagull." She has been able to work with some great local artists, such as Justin Anderson, Rachel May, George Contini, Susan Booth, Heidi Cline McKerley, Bill Newberry, Richard Garner and Scot Mann.
She is a proud alum of the Acting Apprenticeship at the Aurora Theatre in 2014. Since then, she has continued performing at Aurora as well as with Alliance Theatre, Theatrical Outfit, Synchronicity, The Strand Theatre, OnStage Atlanta, Act3 Productions, Gypsy Theatre Company, SkyPunch ATL, Deer Bear Wolf, Stone Mountain Entertainment and Out of Box Productions.
She was recently seen in A Safe Space by Rhyssa-Kathryn Marie - as a part of the SheArts ATL festival.
Suzanne is also so happy to be exploring her second passion of teaching. She is the musical director for camps and classes at the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta and teaches multiple instruments at Eclectic Music.
When she is not performing, she enjoys traveling to Disney Parks around the world, reading, playing with her kittens Scale and Arpeggio and drinking a good cup of coffee.
